Cogflower Designs is the creation of Portland, Oregon artist Theresa Pridemore and reflects her love of the beautiful and unusual. It encompasses elegant jewelry and unusual art for the off-beat, yet sophisticated individual. Cogflower started out of a love for the Steampunk aesthetic, but is not entirely encapsulated by Steampunk. Under the banner of this business I create digital and hand-created artwork, jewelry, graphic design, and other sundries.
Right now Cogflower is primarily focused on my new jewelry line.
Cogflower Designs are inspired by the organic and the mechanical, the bohemian and the elite. Much of my work is influenced by Neo-Victorian and the Steampunk/Clockpunk genres, but is deliberately created with the intention of working well with any ensemble: casual, formal, or costume alike. I enjoy creations that are both eccentric and elegant, and strive to create jewelry and art that reflects this sensibility.
